Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making healthcare money education easier to read, navigate, and use.
Last reviewed: July 29, 2026
Commitment
Community Acquired Finance is intended to help people understand stressful healthcare money topics. The site should be readable, navigable, and usable across devices, screen sizes, and assistive technologies whenever reasonably possible.
Design goals
The site aims to support accessibility by using:
- Plain-English content and short sections.
- Readable contrast and scalable text.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and links.
- Responsive layouts for phone, tablet, and desktop screens.
- Descriptive page headings and consistent navigation.
- Source links and disclaimers near educational content.
Known limitations
No website can guarantee identical behavior with every browser, device, assistive technology, zoom level, or third-party destination. Some dense comparison tables and printable worksheets require horizontal scrolling on small screens; those regions should remain keyboard focusable and clearly labeled.
External websites, downloaded files, browser print dialogs, and services outside CAF are controlled by their providers. Report a barrier on CAF so it can be reproduced, prioritized, and corrected.
Release checks
Critical routes and guided tools are checked on desktop and mobile layouts for keyboard operation, visible focus, heading structure, accessible names, page overflow, serious automated accessibility findings, and browser console failures.
Automated checks are useful but do not prove complete conformance. Material barriers should block a release until corrected or clearly documented with an accessible alternative.
Feedback
Users can report accessibility barriers, broken links, unreadable text, keyboard issues, or confusing page behavior through the Contact page.
Please do not send sensitive personal, medical, financial, insurance, employment, account, or login details when reporting a site issue.
Ongoing review
Accessibility should be reviewed whenever new calculators, policy pages, article templates, navigation patterns, ads, or embedded third-party tools are added.
